Tons of fans, some even driving across state lines, showed up in East Hanover, to meet MTV reality star, Snooki, at her book signing at a Costco Warehouse store. Snooki signed books for those who purchased her new book “A Shore Thing”, at the Costco store, and fans had to show their receipt in order for her to sign their book.
The Costco signing was done next to the patio furniture section of the store, which, according to the retailer, had about 1,000 copies of Snooki’s new book on hand for sale.
Callie Holland, 20, of Tewksbury, Mass, and Meagan Romeo, 20, of Lee, Mass were in line at the Costco store by 9:30 for Snooki’s 2:00 P.M. scheduled appearance. The eager fans drove five hours from their college campus to meet Snooki. Says Holland, “We love Snooki…never judge a book by it’s cover.”
On Friday, “Jersey Shore” co-star Jennifer “JWOWW” Farley was in Long Island for the signing of her new book, “The Rules According to JWOWW”, with many of the same fans driving hours to see her as well.
“A Shore Thing” is a novel based on cousins Giovanna “Gia” Spumanti and Isabella “Bella” Rizzoli — and their summer adventures involving alcohol, clubs, and men – all based at the Jersey Shore.
Born in Santiago, Chile, Snooki was adopted by Italian-American parents at only six-months of age. She was raised in Marlboro, New York.
